Aby Mitchell is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing Education and Faculty Lead for Simulation at King’s College London. She is a registered nurse with a clinical background in primary care and district nursing and has extensive experience across nursing practice and healthcare education. Aby has taught across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programmes, with particular expertise in simulation pedagogy and research. Her academic interests include immersive simulation, virtual reality, digital technologies and innovation in healthcare education. Aby is Consultant Editor of Simulation in Healthcare Education and a member of the editorial board of the British Journal of Nursing and the BJN Inform.
