Behnam Jafari Salim is a Digital Learning Specialist and Senior Fellow of Higher Education at King’s College London, specialising in the intersection of learning design, pedagogy and emerging digital technologies. His work focuses on the design, development and implementation of AI, immersive technologies and digital simulation in healthcare education, integrating AI-led simulation, virtual reality and learning analytics to develop innovative, scalable and evidence-informed learning experiences. He was awarded Educator of the Year by the British Journal of Nursing for his collaborative work in developing the groundbreaking King’s Virtual Placement.
