Anna Baker is an award-winning Aesthetic Nurse, Trainer & Qualified Educator with over 17 years’ experience in Aesthetic Medicine. She has held senior nurse injectable positions at several high street clinic chains and jointly set up 3 nurse-led aesthetic clinics in conjunction with Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Mr Dalvi Humzah, as well as nurse led topical photodynamic therapy clinics in conjunction with Galderma UK Ltd. She co-founded the multi-award-winning training brand Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Training in 2012 and practices as a business partner at The Retreatery Medical Aesthetic Clinic, a multi-disciplinary nurse-led clinic in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

With a keen interest in facial anatomy, Anna holds a post-graduate certificate in Applied Clinical Anatomy-specialising in head and neck anatomy, and has undertaken the NMC Practice Educator Qualification at King’s College London as part of her Clinical Education studies. Anna was awarded ‘Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of The Year’ at the Aesthetic Awards 2017, and ‘Highly Commended’ in 2015 & 2016. Anna is part of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing and is the Aesthetic Nursing Section Editor for The PMFA Journal, and frequently contributes anatomical and aesthetic articles to a number of journals. She regularly presents at national and international aesthetic conferences and has been a previous runner up for ‘Dermatology Nurse of The Year’ at The British Journal of Nursing Awards in 2014 and been awarded ‘Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of The Year’ at The British Journal of Nursing Awards in 2016, Anna is on the Board of Directors for The British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN), and is Chair of the BAMAN Education & Training Committee. Anna holds a position on the JCCP Education & Training Committee and holds a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetics from MAP-IQ. She is also a Level 7 Assessor for MAP-IQ.

Anna also works on an independent consultancy basis and as a Key Opinion Leader with a number of aesthetic brands and companies, including Wigmore Medical, Alidya, Plenyhage and HydroPeptide. Anna provides injectable training courses on behalf of Wigmore Medical, and has previously held a number of senior national training roles for companies specializing in a variety of skin and injectable treatments. She has extensive experience of presenting at national and international meetings and has presented at a number of international conferences, including the United States, Australia, Paris, Italy, Spain Monaco, Stockholm, Poland & New Zealand.

Lucy Moorhead is a Nurse Consultant in Inflammatory Skin Disease at St John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. She has been awarded a BA (Hons) in Nursing and an MA in Medical Ethics and Law. She has a strong interest in dermatology education for nurses, and is on the steering committee for St John’s Derm Academy. She has published over 35 articles in a variety of nursing publications including Nursing Times, Nursing Standard and Dermatological Nursing. She was awarded the inaugural ‘Psoriasis nurse of the year’ award at the British Dermatological Nursing Conference in 2016 after nomination from her patients. In 2021 she was awarded the Stone Achievement Award which recognises the work of an individual who has made a consistently great contribution in the field of dermatology nursing. In 2022 she was awarded the Guys and St Thomas’ patient’s choice award and in 2024 integrated and specialist medicine nurse of the year. She served 5 years as a trustee for the British Dermatological Nursing Group stepping down in 2023. She was the UKDCTN trials nurse fellow for 2025. She is currently a trustee for the Psoriasis Association.

Advanced Clinical Practitioner | Senior Lecturer

Vittoria Sorice is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Urgent and Emergency Medicine and a Senior Lecturer in postgraduate healthcare programmes at the University of Derby, where she teaches advanced clinical practice and supports the development of the future healthcare workforce. With over a decade of nursing experience in the UK and internationally, and advanced practice experience in the UK, Vittoria has made significant contributions to clinical research, including leading pivotal studies during the COVID-19 pandemic. This work earned her team a Chief Nursing Officer Silver Award and established her as a published author and researcher. Her current work focuses on understanding and addressing racial bias across healthcare and healthcare education. Through research, teaching, and clinical practice, she examines the cycle of bias that can exist from education to clinical practice, where inequities within educational resources and training influence clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment decisions, and patient outcomes. She is passionate about translating research into practice to improve patient care, reduce health inequalities, and equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver culturally responsive and equitable care.
